Embraer Executive Jets announced today at the 13th European Business Aviation Convention and Exhibition (EBACE – www.ebace.aero), the sale of the first super-midsize Legacy 600 with a new cabin interior and new Honeywell Primus Elite avionics.

The aircraft will be operated by AIR HAMBURG, a leading German-based business charter operator, serving European, Russian and Middle East destinations. The delivery is planned for the second semester of 2013.

Embraer Executive Jets has received certification from ANAC - Agência Nacional de Aviação Civil; EASA - European Aviation Safety Agency; and FAA - Federal Aviation Administration for Required Navigation Performance (RNP), Vertical Navigation (VNAV), Future Air Navigation System (FANS) and Localizer Performance with Vertical Guidance (LPV) as installed on both the Legacy 600 and Legacy 650 aircraft.

Embraer and SkyWest Inc. (SkyWest) announced a firm order for 40 EMBRAER 175 aircraft. SkyWest will operate the aircraft under a Capacity Purchase Agreement (CPA) with United Airlines. Another 60 firm orders are reconfirmable aircraft, which are subject to SkyWest being awarded CPA agreement contracts with major U.S. airline partners. In addition to that, the agreement includes options for another 100 E175s, taking the total order potential up to 200 airplanes.

The firm orders for the first 40 aircraft will be included in Embraer’s 2013 second quarter backlog. This sale is in addition to the contract signed by Embraer with United Airlines for 30 firm and 40 options for E175 jets.

Embraer Executive Jets announced the appointment of AirPros, a subsidiary of the Khaled Juffali Company, as its Authorized Sales Representative (ASR) for its entire, seven-aircraft portfolio of business aircraft in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

“With its parent company Khaled Juffali Group having a strong business and financial presence in Saudi Arabia, this makes AirPros a perfect choice as a strategic partner,” said Colin Steven, Vice President Sales, Europe, Middle-East & Africa, Embraer Executive Jets. “The Kingdom is a very specialized market, which offers great potential for the entire range of our corporate jet family that includes seven different models ranging from the entry-level Phenom 100 through to the ultra-large Lineage 1000 corporate jet.”
London, Fev 04 2013 Embraer and Republic sign USD $250 Million agreement for Components Pool Program
Embraer and Republic Airways have reached an agreement on a Flight Hour Pool Program whereby Embraer will provide component support for more than 400 repairable part numbers, including systems such as hydraulic, electrical and engine components, for Republic’s fleet. The program has a value of approximately USD $250 Million and will cover up to 308 aircraft, potentially including Republic’s recent aircraft order of 47 E175 aircraft and 47 options. The Republic E-Jets family of aircraft will be covered through February 2020; the ERJ 145 family will be covered through December 2017.

Brasil, Jan 08 2013 Embraer Selects Pratt & Whitney’s PurePower Engines for Second Generation of E-Jets
Embraer SA (NYSE: ERJ; BM&FBOVESPA: EMBR3) announced today that Pratt & Whitney´s PurePower® Geared TurbofanTM engines have been selected for its future, second generation of E-Jets, with entry into service planned for 2018. The decision is an important milestone in the program, which is expected to be officially launched later this year.

The new engines - the PW1700G and PW1900G - range in thrust from 15,000 to 22,000 pounds. In combination with new aerodynamically advanced wings, state-of-the-art full fly-by-wire flight controls and other systems evolutions, they will result in double digit improvements in fuel burn, maintenance costs, emissions and external noise.

The first Award has been presented by NBAA to ABS Jets for their outstanding safety record. The NBAA Commercial Business Flying Safety Award has been given to ABS Jets for their record of 8 years and 19,938 consecutive flying hours without accident, incident, injury or damage to persons or property. This is the second time ABS Jets has been recognised by NBAA for their outstanding safety record: the first occasion was in 2009. The NBAA Flying Safety Awards recognise exceptional achievement in maintaining safe flying operations.
